Version 2.22.0 is released!

We develop and improve crowd:it continuously. And now, a new version is released with great new features.

In addition to various bug fixes, there are also a few great new features that we would like to introduce to you.

Redesign crowd:it

The redesign in crowd:it continues. This time we have ventured to the heart of it, the user interface.

crowd:it has been completely redesigned visually to give you a more modern and intuitive user experience. The new design is not only functional, but also gives crowd:it a contemporary feel. We hope you like the new look and that it will help to make your work easier and better.

Probably the most noticeable change: the Playbar is now located at the bottom edge, as you are used to from media players.

Das neue crowd:it Design.
Additional views for screenshots and videos

We have extended our screenshot and video exporter and added two new views to make viewing the simulations even clearer.

Stack floors
The individual floors can be exported on top of each other. This gives you a comprehensive overview of your project and makes it easier to track movements across several floors.

Video Player

Isometric perspective
The isometric perspective is new. With this you can get a better feeling of space than with a pure top view, as the relationships between the storeys stand out more clearly. With the isometric view, floors can also be displayed on top of each other.

More setting options for simulation

settings-simulation

When you start a simulation, the menu now offers some new functions. For example, the new mode "Test Simulation" has been added, which allows you to run your simulation with a reduced number of agents. This is a valuable tool to check the integrity of your paths and other settings. This way you can be sure that the scenario has been set up correctly before running a full simulation, which takes more time and resources.

In addition, you can now set how much memory (RAM) should be available to the simulation core when simulating. This gives you more control over how many resources a simulation takes up.
