The team at accu:rate
We are a well-coordinated team here to advise you on the planning and implementation of your projects.

CEO
Angelika Kneidl is one of the leading international experts in pedestrian flow simulation. Since 2009, she has been professionally dedicated to modeling the movement of crowds via computer simulations. Her doctoral thesis on the same topic was awarded a PhD prize, followed by numerous other honors. Today, she leads one of the most forward-looking companies in this field. In addition, she actively shapes engineering methods and personal safety through her roles as the first chairperson of the renowned RiMEA e.V. and her participation in international committees.

COO
Sophia Simon is a true all-rounder. Whether it’s inquiries about crowd:it, our services, or research projects, she assists our clients and partners at any time and on any topic—competently and with great enthusiasm. Her background in sociology enables her to convey deep-tech subjects clearly. At the same time, she is responsible for business development, HR, and finance, combining strategist, visionary, and doer in one.

Projects
Julia is our architect on the team. She has extensive experience in design and project management, bringing substantial expertise in building construction. Thanks to her calm and thoughtful approach, she maintains clarity even in complex projects. She discovered her interest in digital solutions while working in architectural firms and deepened her knowledge through training as a web developer. At accu:rate, she can contribute valuable input to further develop crowd:it.

Projects
Felix comes from the consulting sector for cultural and recreational projects, where he created various analyses—from economic feasibility studies and visitor flow control to visitor dramaturgy. His studies in Applied Cognition and Media Studies, with a focus on psychology and computer science, have also given him a profound understanding of how human behavior can be modeled. This rare skill set makes him a valuable addition to our project team, where he also manages research projects.

Projects/Software
As a trained environmental engineer and computer scientist, Janik Scholl knows how to handle complex approaches. As a long-standing team member, he has conducted many simulation projects, and he was particularly responsible for the automated integration of complex boundary conditions. He now uses his experience in numerous simulation projects to further develop our software crowd:it—and is happy to demonstrate it in a software demo.

Software
Kristina is one of our software developers and also holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from TUM. At accu:rate, she can follow her interest in combining research and software development. With her expertise in web-based software development and language-based AI, she enriches our team and supports the development of crowd:it as well as various research projects. She drives forward the development of our web-based projects.
