Application Areas of Simulations

Simulating crowd fllows realistically and reliably is only possible with a modern, validated model. To guarantee this, we are involved in research and committees and are constantly striving to bridge the gap between science and practice.

In our projects, we distinguish between two types: the classic area of application are evacuation analyses. This evaluation is a holistic view of the interactions on site and is carried out according to DIN 18009-2. Circulation analyses, on the other hand, look at the processes in buildings and at events. With this analysis, comfort and level of service can be evaluated, capacity limits can be determined and processes and procedures can be tested and optimized.
